The Historic District of Wallace, NC
Vist our newly renovated Depot which houses a Visitor's Center, Train Museum, an art gallery with works by the Long Leaf Art Guild, and soon- a Farmer's Market. A stroll down Main St will offer a great selection of shops to visit. Have lunch at The Mustard Seed or  lunch or dinner at the Stone Leaf Cafe.

Main St Shopping
 
Find all the shops listed on these pages conveniently along Main St and the adjoining cross streets. Street parking is complemented by free public parking areas along Railroad St and at the north corner of Main St and Raleigh Rd.

Sit on a sunny bench and enjoy conversation, and read the many bricks that have been placed in the walk area around the clock!

The Wallace Depot Art & Train Museum

The newly renovated depot houses a gallery of original works of the Long Leaf Art Guild, and a transportation museum of artifacts with a model train exhibit. The Chamber of Commerce office and Visitor's Center is also housed in the Depot. The Depot is open Monday-Friday from 1:00-5:00.
